Accepting the Republican vice-presidential nomination Cheney has stated that he's looking forward to serving with a president who will work to achieve his goals by reaching across the partisan aisle and working with political opponents to achieve a mutual motives. Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941, the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When Richard Bruce Cheney was 13 the family of Richard Bruce Cheney left Lincoln Nebraska and moved to Casper Wyoming and his father headed the U.S. Department of Agriculture's regional conservation districts.
