Arike Ogunbowale is an American professional player for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale was a college basketball player as a member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being selected by the Wings as the fifth overall selection for the year 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale born 2nd March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Parents Yolanda Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her siblings. Arike also participated in three varsity seasons while studying there. Ogunbowale's skills led her to impressive victories while at the school. With 73 high-school starts in her career, Ogunbowale has 1,477 points with 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale won gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships as well as the 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships. The 7th of July, 2014 was the day that Ogunbowale was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also selected as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player.
