Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror and martial arts genres. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action flicks with a morbid fascination. She began reviewing in late 2009 and after gaining some recognition through their forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The channel was online from 2009 until the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on the channel. Both focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. You can watch it here and here. Her Twitter profile, Tumblr page and Facebook accounts also feature videos. You can't have enough Allison? Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. In addition, she appeared on Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! Guest-starring in Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. It reviews horrendous film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult-oriented comedy. She began reviewing films late in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to be part of the reviewing group. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a member of the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as frequently appear on the episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
