Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. Her reporting in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the cases.
